1. Job Category: PROJECT COORDINATOR (1 Position).

JOB SUMMARY:

To assist Project Extension Officers within assigned communities, implemented in collaboration with partnering organizations and community-based agencies. Ensure that there is efficient and effective coordination of resources, equipment, project activities, meetings and information.  The post holder will report to the Programs Manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. To act in a consultative role on planning and providing guidance to the technical team as appropriate.
  2. To undertake supervision, coordination for all project activities in the project scope & mandate.
  3. Initiative different alternative energy saving technologies.
  4. Follow up on field environmental activities
  5. To carry out any other duties that may be required from time to time
  6. Making sure that your team has the tools they need to execute the project.
  7. Creating a project schedule, with milestones, due dates and estimates for materials that are required and other resources, such as team members, which will then be submitted to management for approval.
  8. Providing technical support to documentation of each phase of the project, as well as making final technical reports that will be presented to the organization’s management team.
  9. Working with team members in the field or on site who have project issues.
  10. Keep up the morale of team members and build relationships with them to develop a strong working unit and supporting their impact on the success of a project.

Educational qualifications and specification:

  • Degree in Environmental Management or any other related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly capable Project Accountant to provide our project team with accounting support. As a Project Accountant, you will be required to report to the Finance & Administration Officer (FAO) all project bills and invoices. Your role will also include reviewing budgets and preparing financial reports.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Reporting to the Finance & Administration Officer (FAO) or other project managers as required.
  2. Reviewing budgets, including staffing, work plans, and fee structures.
  3. Providing project managers and clients with timely financial reports and budgets, as well as project forecasts.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for implementation of environment & energy activities while delivering excellence and quality project deliverables as guided by the immediate supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. To oversee and coordinate energy activities in the field, manage participatory processes, engage communities, undertake sensitization, promote the project in their field areas, and coordinate project activities in their field area.
  2. Provide strong support to Participatory Inclusive Market Systems Assessment focused on alternative sources of energy, Social Behaviour Change activities focused on achieving changes in attitudes and practices towards environmental degradation, climate change and adoption of alternative energy technologies.
  3.  Conduct community driven awareness raising activities on renewable and sustainable energy, and alternative technologies.
  4. Identify, select refugees and host adolescent, youths and women and support their training as local artisans in sustainable and renewable energy and efficient technologies through apprenticeship and mentorship.
  5. Support building of adolescent, youth and women’s entrepreneurship capacity and skills to set up viable environmentally friendly enterprises as alternative income generating activities.
  6. Facilitate intra-and inter-community dialogues through existing structures created under SPRSNU.
  7. Contribute to the promotion of extension reforms and capacity development for extension/advisory services with special attention to demand-led, pluralistic, decentralized, market -oriented, and participatory approaches that meet the diverse needs of smallholders and rural people, especially women and marginalized groups.

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Manager will manage all the human resources activities including recruitment and orientation, personnel files, staff benefits and insurance schemes and payroll, etc. Will support our internal and external HR strategies.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  2. Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  3. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
  4. Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  5. Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  6. Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  7. Support the management of ViFoH HR system and ensuring that it is accurate and maintained up to date.
  8. Support the maintenance of all talent acquisition and management processes in Cornerstone and the HRS as assigned, to ensure 100% data integrity.

  10. Capacity building employees, management and HR Focal points in use of Cornerstone and the HRIS.

JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement and Logistics Officer will be responsible for supporting the supply chain process, ensuring that all procurements are done on a timely basis and manage logistics at competitive prices. Will be responsible for managing procurement processes and procedures at national level for smooth activity implementation such as venue bookings for activity meetings, refreshments and materials. And also, manager and coordinate all logistics activities in the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create plans, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure end product quality for the users.
  2. Ensures effective and economical acquisition and sustainment of systems throughout the system life-cycle.
  3. Constantly monitor program timelines, development, testing, delivery, support, and disposition.
  4. Manage the lifecycle sustainment of assigned Army assemblages and associated equipment.
  5. Coordinate with other directorates and outside agencies to formally transition items through the lifecycle, i.e. coding, testing, acquisition, vendor management, formal documentation across DoD programs.
  6. Provide technical input, build slides, and draft documents (Life Cycle Sustainment plan) to support to acquisition presentations and documentations in support of major milestones, program reviews, prepare contract documentation to include but not limited to market research, acquisition strategy, performance work statement, purchase request, justification & approval or other program presentations
  7. Prepare Requests for Information, Logistics Support Agreements, Task Assignment Memorandums, Memorandums of Notification, and Letters of Instruction as required to support all fielding actions.
  8. Prepare and provide analysis and recommendations to improve fielding processes upon request.
  9. Assist and/or provide technical guidance for the pre-processing, staging, inventory, and hand-off of materiel to gaining units.
  10. Inspect materiel at the production facility prior to each assemblage delivery and initiate discrepancy-reporting procedures, as necessary. Coordinate these activities with the PM, EEO,PC, HR, and E.D  procurement action. Travel to the facility no fewer than 4 times.
  11. Confirm the receipt of end items (with basic issue items), non-expendables, durables, expendables, and the support packages at the gaining installation ensuring the accountability of equipment is maintained throughout the fielding process.
  12. Participate in special projects as required.

Educational qualifications and specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics with 2-3 years of relevant procurement.
  • Familiarity with donor-funded procurement rules and regulations is required and Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is an advantage.
  • Able to work with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors, and recipients of assistance.

  1. The Office Assistant will support the administration of logistics and finances of the office under supervision of the project coordinator.
  2. Maintain supply inventory (monitor level of office supplies and handle shortages);
  3. Maintain office equipment and an asset register;
  4. Provide administrative and logistical support to field staff;
  5. Communicate regularly with the project coordinator on progress of different tasks;
  6. Maintain the office petty cash in accordance with the finance manual and standard operating procedures;

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Manager will manage all the human resources activities including recruitment and orientation, personnel files, staff benefits and insurance schemes and payroll, etc. Will support our internal and external HR strategies.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  2. Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  3. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
  4. Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  5. Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution

JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement and Logistics Officer will be responsible for supporting the supply chain process, ensuring that all procurements are done on a timely basis and manage logistics at competitive prices. Will be responsible for managing procurement processes and procedures at national level for smooth activity implementation such as venue bookings for activity meetings, refreshments and materials. And also, manager and coordinate all logistics activities in the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create plans, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure end product quality for the users.
  2. Ensures effective and economical acquisition and sustainment of systems throughout the system life-cycle.
  3. Constantly monitor program timelines, development, testing, delivery, support, and disposition.
  4. Manage the lifecycle sustainment of assigned Army assemblages and associated equipment.
  5. Coordinate with other directorates and outside agencies to formally transition items through the lifecycle, i.e. coding, testing, acquisition, vendor management, formal documentation across DoD programs.
  6. Provide technical input, build slides, and draft documents (Life Cycle Sustainment plan) to support to acquisition presentations and documentations in support of major milestones, program reviews, prepare contract documentation to include but not limited to market research, acquisition strategy, performance work statement, purchase request, justification & approval or other program presentations
  7. Prepare Requests for Information, Logistics Support Agreements, Task Assignment Memorandums, Memorandums of Notification, and Letters of Instruction as required to support all fielding actions.
  8. Prepare and provide analysis and recommendations to improve fielding processes upon request.
  9. Assist and/or provide technical guidance for the pre-processing, staging, inventory, and hand-off of materiel to gaining units.
  10. Inspect materiel at the production facility prior to each assemblage delivery and initiate discrepancy-reporting procedures, as necessary. Coordinate these activities with the PM, EEO,PC, HR, and E.D  procurement action. Travel to the facility no fewer than 4 times.
  11. Confirm the receipt of end items (with basic issue items), non-expendables, durables, expendables, and the support packages at the gaining installation ensuring the accountability of equipment is maintained throughout the fielding process.
  12. Participate in special projects as required.

Educational qualifications and specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics with 2-3 years of relevant procurement.
  • Familiarity with donor-funded procurement rules and regulations is required and Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is an advantage.

  1. Carry out protection, security assignments to the office premises, assets, staff according to ViFoH standard security protocols.
  2.  Provide security checks, supervision, support to office, office & field staff.
  3. Record and provide security guidance & instruction to all visitors to ViFoH on official business.
  4. Provide maintenance support to office compound, assets.
  5. Support communication functions with internal & external individuals based ViFoH communications policy & procedures.
  6. Carry out any other duty on assignment of management.

Educational qualifications and specification:

  • UCE or Advanced Certificate in Education (UACE)
